ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    green HID fog lights?

anyone ever had this happen to them?
i have some aftermarket projector fog lights that have yellow lenses with a tint of blue on them and i put some 3000K hids in them and i got a lime green/ yellow hue. i think the bulbs are defective though, they flicker from time to time and they seem more green then yellow without the lens (using relay). i bought some 4300K bulbs thinking that the "white" bulbs with the yellow lens would be more of the look i was going for. the 4300K bulbs look more blue then white so i when i put them in, the projected color was somewhat yellow but looked white/ light green when facing the front of the car. overall, i like the lime green/yellow color, i get a lot of looks and compliments from them and so far the cops haven't bothered me..

    the cutoff:

the bulbs: 3000K left 4300K right

    Ummmm...
    yellow + blue = green

I don't see the problem here.

ya it depends on the Led hid...I mean if you happen to buy a 6000k lower meaning from white to plain yellow light, it will just give it a nice yellow...If you happen to give it over 8000k from blue to violet...It will give a lime greeen...So if you happen to want bright yellow go for a 6000k white

there could be sometime a 6000k and a 5000k blue, so make sure you ask the person is this really white, cause sometimes it doesn't seem you wanted that kind of bulb
