    EXT. D.I.Y rear lip

    I dont think no one has done this yet.i havent seen it on here.this will take 5 min.im sure its pretty self explanatory.i just winged it and came out good.i did mesure how far to cut tho

    things you need.stuff i had layin around at the time.i used the heat gun so i can heat the bumper and cut a nice curve at the end

                You know, I love the idea, and it looks good, BUT, I have to nitpick about it because now you're cutting the bumper and make it look higher, showing more underside of the car, rather than giving it the effect of being lower, like adding a CD5 lip would do.


                I will give you creativity and style points, and bonus ones for being original. Props to you.

                    I had a similar idea. I thought about removing the whole rear lip and installing the whole rear cd5 lip. But i dont want to ruin my rear bumper lol.

                        Orrr, you could also mould the OEM lip (thin skin of filler...or fibreglass for more strength) and add on the CD5 lip

                          ^^^ what I plan on doing if I ever get the chance to re paint. Probly try it on a junkyard rear bumper anyway though. And fix that tiny bit of sag
