    I took the reflectors out and sprayed the top with 3 layers of black paint. I did the same with the red part by using 3 layers of chrome paint. Now I have to assemble them and polish them very well to give it the finishing touch!

          Well, I tried painting the diffuser, and didn't let the light thru

          so i went with this


          Has anybody modded, or atleast taking the inner lights out?

                          Im tryin 2 convince my friend to give me his 91 LEGEND tailights! he thinkin of lettin me blk house them. Like ive done to mines. But its like a 50 50 thing.

                          Ill skill it if i do it for him, and his headlights to!

                            i had an extra taillight to play with, so i did a few different things to show what it could look like.


                            i used a couple of flat head screw drivers and a hairdryer on high heat. there may be a better way to do this, like putting then in the oven for example, but this worked for me. i had it apart in 15 min. the glue is very soft and sticky. the lens is a hard plastic, while the taillight housing is flexable like tupperware.

                            once you get the taillight apart, you'll see that the clear reflector inside is two pieces.



                            the first one is my favorite. i'm sotra debating on doing it to my tails. i took the top light diffuser and tinted it black.

                                hey what kind of chrome did you use to make this? Was it that fake chrome stuff? The fake chrome i got doesn't look good at all
