    the tapping screws part seems scary. there isnt much material to tap into.

      actually there is more there then you think there is. i only had one small problem while removing my bumper cover and that was the screw i was using BROKE while i was trying to pull it out so i basically destroyed that one snap just to get it out of there. other then that the tapping screws part worked beautifully.

          for this part it was easier for me to do after the whole bumper was off. then I just shot them up with WD-40 from the inside and I was able to push the threaded part out easily and then pop the retainer out too. I totally mangled one of them trying to get them out with a self tapping screw.
