I will be ordering another set of lenses friday and make a trip to the junk yard with my hammer. Set number two will be in the works.

ah, i'll make another unsmoked set and use clear silicone this time instead of blue; thought it would dry clear

i've had good luck with flowable silicone for glass and windsields. it's at any auto parts store. if you put to much, it tends to run, but it has incredible bond strength and resistance to water.

Nic, if you don't mind me whoring your thread out, i'll post some pics of the cornerlights i did with the same method of seperation. later.

Do what ever you want brian. The easy it is to understand and the more methods we have, i think this mod will become a bigger hit.

I dunno, I thought about smoking the clear lense slightly.

ah, i was thinking of spraying a hint of tint over the chrome inside because how it is now, it's a little too shiny.

ok here is how i did mind.

the clear lenses has arrived on time.

i took no risk on the lenses,so i use the oem lens body.

the reflector inside the oem lens is clear type, but the CD's reflector is slightly shorter in width. The clip also on different side with the oem lens,so i shaved it and use super glue to hold it in the box.

glued it with glass silicone and finish!no bulging at all.

P/S:it's quite costly by using 3 set of lenses and make into 1,but the satisfactory is priceless.

Cool man, josh noticed the relfector in the 92-93 lense this weekend, we just didn't know if it was clear or not. I think the next set I will use the 92-93 reflector and spray with kyrlon staind glass orange. Maybe this will be like an OEM fit.

I wonder how the blackhoused bumper turn signals look after you add the reflecter to them.

It'd be hard to lessen their output.
