okay, just one question....The whole thing of putting the headlights in the oven, can you do that with the JDM headlights too?? 'coz I know that the JDM has plastic lens, not glass....I'm just wondering if they would melt or anything like that...

Sorry if the question's stupid....I'm getting a JDM 1 piece myself, and planning of blacking it out...Just want to know if it's okay to put them in the oven or not....

        Thx a bunch!
        Ronald

lol.. i dont think its necessary with the jdm 1 pieces.. matter a fact i think u can get away with using a heat gun or hair dryer and a knife to cut away at the silicon.. not sure though.. but i would never put plastic in the oven.. it will fuck up ur lights

yeah you can put the JDM's in the oven, you just need to put them on wet newspaper or wet cardboard instead of directly on the cookie sheet. heat gun is a worse idea for plastic than it is for glass, cuz plastic cracks easier than glass. when you use a heat gun you only soften one part of the light goo at a time, so that means when your prying that part, the rest that is still cold isnt moving, so that makes a lot of pressure on the lens *CRACK*

i was driving along today and the check engine light came on.
i pulled over and looked under the hood.
                  the engine was still there...
                  ...silly light!
