    Atlantic City.

So this morning, I was listening to a contest play out on a local morning show on a rock station that I listen to every day. It just so happened that they did this segment where they would play a snippet of a laugh and you had to guess it.

After two calls one guy got it right..but stupidly passed on a pair of tickets for a show down in Atlantic City.

    The Orion Music Festival.

I called and won a pair!! I'm so stoked..although Newsted hasn't been in the line up for years now I've always wanted to go see Metallica.

    So question is:

Anyone know of a cheap place to crash for 2 days??

I plan on leaving either late Friday night or early Saturday morning staying until Sunday before heading back home.

I won't miss this show for the fucking world.

NICE! I actually just recently came back from Atlantic City for a getaway with the gf. We booked hotels and a rental car at least a month ahead so it could be cheaper. But if you book the week before or of, good luck. Prices can double, triple, or even quadruple on the weekends. We stayed near the boardwalk where all the Trump hotels are. But if you're looking for cheaper, you can get a hotel/motel about 10 minutes away from the boardwalk(although if you plan on chillin at the boardwalk, you have to pay for parking somewhere).
Since you're in southern, NH, Its about a 7 or 8 hour drive correct? Hope you have a rental lol.

Yeah but Friday night I'll be in Middleboro and my best friends house and then we'll head out from there.

When is it? And how many people? If I get my place in order, I might be able to let you crash here. I'm like 45 minutes from AC. I drive down there when I get bored.

There are hotels and motels EVERYWHERE in the area, though... and a room at a casino isn't terribly expensive.

Just me and my best friend, we're heading down Saturday morning (taking off early from Mass) I'd bring the coupe..but no a/c and squeaking here and there..would drive you up the wall lol.

I looked at the hotel rooms...Days Inn was charging 375 a night

Check prices daily on a few website to see if it gets any cheaper. Me and the gf kept an eye out in case the prices started to climb too high, we would book right away so we dont end up paying more. I stayed at one of the Trumps casino/hotel for about 50 bux a night for monday and tuesday night. And my buddy is looking to go down to AC during 4th of July week. Hotels are at least 200 a night...

ah, crap. yeah, i won't have my place in order by this weekend... my guest room is currently packed with musical equipment, computer equipment, and clothes...

You're looking at 200 a night at the casinos, probably. There are hotels and motels all along the main roads. somewhere in the middle of the state would be cheapest. Too far west, you're getting prices for rooms close to Philly. Too far east, prices close to AC.

Check for places along Rt 30 (White Horse Pike) and Rt 322 (Black Horse Pike)
I know there are a TON of little hotels and motels there... though the cheap ones might be kinda scuzzy...
