ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    H22 wiring

As some of you may know, I'm dumping a JDM H22 in my 93 accord very soon. Old engine is coming out this weekend. I just ordered a helms manual but I'm anxious to get some answers now. The swap will require me to wire in the below sensors. My biggest question is, for the ones that have two or three wires, wth do I do with the extras? I'm assuming the second wire needs to be grounded to the block, but what about the third wire? I.E. vtec pressure switch has three wires. Thanks!

    Vtec solenoid
    Vtec pressure switch
    Intake air bypass (IAB)
    Knock sensor
    Evap purge solenoid

As far as I know vtec pressure has only two wires, I just cut off a clip from a junk yard car to get the extra pins I needed and ran them to the ecu. You can use your f22 egr so you won't have to so any wiring for that.

Also just saw you have an EX. Your car should already have wiring for the IAB. Just use your accord harness and you'll only have to worry about 4 wires. 1 for the vtec solenoid, 1 for the knock, and 2 for the vtec pressure switch (1 ground and 1 to the ecu).

Coupes - Yes, almost ALL cb7 Ex's come with the F22a6 that has IAB. For some reason, my car came with an f22a1 that doesn't have IAB. My car is either from Canada or it's had it's engine replaced. The car only has 142k on it, so the engine replacement might not be as likely unless someone ran it out of oil or something.

Also, my vtec pressure switch has three wires and the vtec solenoid has one. Now, what do I do with the remaining wire(s) on my sensors? Ground them to the block?
