The forum administrator locked the thread because too many people that were not involved were jumping in on it.
I would suggest PM or EMail as a course of action to settle these pending refunds.

The thread was locked, and the unnecessary replies (meaning ALL of them) were deleted. If someone wants a refund, they can contact you.

There's a difference between accepting someone's actions and agreeing with them. Of course I don't think it was the right thing to do to allow this to drag on. However, it did. Calling names solves absolutely nothing. Showing some appreciation for someone who at least TRIES to make amends helps a lot more. What's done is done. It can't be undone, but there are still some options left to help rectify things.

"Hey! This guy is back offering refunds again! Let's continue making him feel like an asshole, even though we didn't buy anything from him! Maybe then he'll get disgusted again and go away for good this time! Yeah!"

If you want to focus on the past... on what was done, or how things were... feel free. You can't change what was done, and you can't bring back the past. Deal with it.

You want a fix for dealing with scammers? Here it is: Suck it up. That's right. Deal with it. If you send someone money, and they don't send you parts... who's really to blame? If you're buying something from a faceless nickname on a black and white message board without protecting yourself, can you truly blame the "scammer"? Suck it up... or protect yourself from the start.

If you want to buy something, and don't want to risk your hard earned money, tell the seller to go through ebay. Ebay offers private auctions... closed auctions. You can sell an item directly to a single person with all the protection ebay offers. You don't get your item, you appeal to ebay, and get your money back. Simple as that. Much more effective than whining on cb7tuner.com about it, to a bunch of people that can do even less than you can about your problem!

do you really think a guy persecuted for horrible dealings will utilize a thread to "fix" things.....it's completely unnecessary.....it should go on behind the scenes, but that wouldn't be as dramatic.......he wants to fix his rep, fine, but the FIRST step is fixing all of the issues.......saying your going to do something isn't the same as doing it.....a LOT of people are still waiting and probably will be for a while.....those who filed for paypal investigations are in a funny situation....paypal probably found flaco guilty, but can't do anything because no money is there to give.....i lost $300 that way..........they usually shutdown that account too......and he's on a list with them by name/email addy/bank account number for being suspicious if nothing else.......bad things can still come of this for him........

He has an open PM conversion going on with me regarding my transaction with him. At least he seems to be trying. I too filed with PayPal against him, but he can appeal their decision and then, in turn, PayPal will be checking with me to see if a refund was issued or product received. I really think this should be handled via PM or Email, not concern the whole board. Maybe I'm wrong .

He may have made a thread trying to collect the people he supposedly ripped off.

PM would've been better, true. However, that's not what happened. What SHOULD HAVE BEEN is a moot point. There are no takebacks in real life. It started as a public matter way back, and it'll continue to be so. So what.

flacopower, please issue the refunds or send the parts. If you intend to send parts, do so. If you cannot send the parts by Wednesday of next week, just go on paypal and issue refunds. This has been going on for a VERY long time now. It's time to put it to rest. People are running out of panties to get in a bunch... and they're beginning to reuse old, dirty ones... it's getting rather disgusting.

well good luck with paypal......they aren't helpful unless they can gain something unfortunately.......been there, done that.......settling it yourself if really the only solution, and i hope flaco comes through........i sold him something and it went smoothly....seemed like a cool guy......everyone fucks up.....a lot of times......i just know that a lot of people will sit back, take all this in and say "well it's ok to run away when everyone is claiming you scammed them"........that's a time you should be the total opposite.......sure it's tough, but oh well......how many times do you think it's been my horrible opinion vs. the majority on something.....an e-battle is nothing......you can go look at porn and take a break if necessary.....but i just hope people handle it....shit does happen, people do make mistakes and sometimes they simply don't view e-life as a real part of life, which it is nowadays.......

You're right. It's a poor excuse. Regardless, it happens. Because it happens, we have to be aware of it and deal with it accordingly. Don't focus on what should be, focus on what is. Preaching about the proper way of things will do nothing but make you a miserable old man. Take things in stride and work with what you've got... much more can be accomplished that way.

Conversely, if someone commits a crime and is labeled a criminal, aren't they more prone to committing crime in the future? Or drugs... Marijuana is considered a "gateway drug"... not because of any chemical properties, but because of the psychological properties of the label "drug". Many people who smoke pot (not all, I won't be so naive to speak for everyone) go on to other drugs because they are already "drug users". They've already done 'drugs', so the social stigma created to sway them from such a habit is now pushing them further into it. Once you're labeled, you tend to accept that label. ANY act to try to break free of that label should be acknowledged in one way or another.
