Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Weird Problem.............

    well i was on my way to school today, going bout 75ish on the highway and all of asuden the car just starts decelarating so i stop on the shoulder and figured it shut off on its own
    has anybody had a similar problem?

    Did it turn back on or just shut off and stay off? Did the lights and everything cut out? Details plz...

        wrichards2005: it shut off but lights were still on afterwards, after i pulled over it turned back on after 1 try.

        93accordexcoupe: had 1/2 tank left

        erikm: well i think if felt like a stall since it happened all of a suden (the car is AT), usually in the mornings its starts up nice unless its cold, then it takes a few seconds(when its cold).
        sorry still pretty new, whats CEL codes? and where do i look for them?

          I had a similar problem. Later, it started stalling on takeoff and in the middle of driving. It was as erik said, ignitor. BTW if it happens to be that and you take it to the mechanic, make sure they follow all the steps in diagnosing the problem. Even the part where it says if there is no code, after replacing everything else and the problem still exists, change the ignitor out. It took my mechanic a little while to figure out that was it and finally read that last part and fixed it right away. Good luck man.

            thanks for the info everyone. if the problem continues ill probably just take it to the dealer since i dont trust/ or have any shops around besides pepboys that i know of
