I had an act stage 3 un sprung and fidanza flywheel. Omg it sucked while in traffic jams , other than that I loved it.

For the oil pan gasket you need to get a wire wheel and strip it off, please use eye protection.

Don't really have much new to show...

Here is my homemade clutch alignment tool lol.

Everything was tight without any slop. I think I may helicoil the flywheel and either keep it around our sell it. I was talking to my mechanic at work who races dirt track and hes done the same thing to aluminum flywheels before.

As far as the pan, just brush it all off and then repaint it?

Just brush the mating surface , then repaint if you like.

We're in the same boat brother. I am patiently waiting as well for my build.

Today was somewhat productive. The engine is in, the fuel lines are hooked up, all the water lines are hooked up, I got my water temp sensor for the MTX D gauge installed in the head, I got a new fuel filter put in, I started wiring my relay board, I started pulling the rack and pinion out I'm going to put a new one in from Autozone since I bought one from them years ago it's free, and I got my new upper control arms in. I also pulled the old clutch and flywheel off, I'm pretty sure I strip some of the threads on the fly wheel but they all look fine. Oh well the new setup going to be awesome anyways.

Something that is holding me up right now is the oil pressure sensor fitting into the block is an M19 by 1.5 with a BSPT female thread for the stock pressure sensor and I need in NPT thread for the MTX D gauge. I'm thinking about just getting a bolt with the proper thread and drilling it out for the NPT thread. I could also do that for the oil pan and put a seal nut on the inside of the oil pan for my oil temperature sensor.

Guru is a strong word, but by this time I know pretty much the entire engine and charging system. I still have a few issues to work out though.
