ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    what is a cb7? What's the difference?

I have a 90 Accord with cb7 in the VIN and I was like WHOA! Does this mean that my car is a cb7? I have heard about the cars and all, but no further...
    my questions are...

    what is a cb7 accord?
    what's different/so special?
    what are the resale differences?
    I have an F22A4 SOHC NON-VTEC 130HP-142ft-lb of TQ
I was wondering if someone could tell me about a cb7, just give me a retards full-run down on all things cb7...
you know what's funny? I have had my car since August 6, 2005 and just realized the cb7 in the VIN. Weird huh?
    Help please!

CB7 is the chassis code for 90-93 accords. They'll all say it.

90 to 93 accords are cb7s. At least in the U.S. And the wagons are cb9s.

That is the chassis code, every car has one. It's nothing special about your accord, it's just that you happen to have the year. If you had 94-97 you would have a cd5.

Almost everything you could want to know about one is on this website.

A cb7 is whats sitting in your driveway. Its a 90-93 Accord (4th generation), sedan or coupe, there are wagons as well cb9's. As for any questions, just browse around here, use the search...believe me its useful, and welcome!

CB7 Accord. That car that you have there is TRULY a CB7 (of course, so is the one in my driveway). The "CB" part of the name stands for the larger chassis that was introduced on these select years of Accord.

          Check out this site:

It has some good history on our cars and might be helpful for some miscellaneous questions. Later!

CB is the chassis. All 1990-1993 (some 1989 in Japan) Accords are CBs. CB7 and CB9 are the ones we have here in the US (coupe/sedan and wagon respectively). In other countries, the number changes. Some of the changes indicate different engines (some CBs had 1.8L carbureted engines, 2.0L fuel injected engines of various varieties, and the 2.2L engines we have here). They could also indicate various options, or even sub-models (was the Ascot a CB?)

The 3rd generation is CA (I've got one). The 5th generation is CD (www.cd5tuner.com... like the CB7, the number only specifies one type... in that case, the sedan), 6th is CG (I've got one of those as well).

I'm sure you've heard of Civics referred to as EF, EG, EK, or EP, right? Same thing. As with Integras... DA, DC...

yes, the Ascot is a CB.

CB1 to CB9. CB1 being the basic model (1.8 carb) the CB9 being the wagon.

can we like have a sticky for the various CBs??
