yea it's the f22a1. Well on the way down to Willard OH Which is 300ish miles from my house in BC MI I was getting around 36ish mpg and that's including driving up to Sandusky and back to Willard and around Willard a bit. On the way home, same speed as what I drove on my way down my mpg just tanked I was somehow only getting 25 mpg.

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Do you actually record the miles driven and fuel used and figure the mileage for each tank of fuel? Buy fuel at more "reputable" stations (or consistently the same brand)? Some pumps can shut off significantly sooner than others. If you actually keep a log, how has the mileage been for the last few months leading up to this trip?Last edited by Fleetw00d; 04-28-2017, 12:01 AM.90 LX 4dr 5 spd 396,014 (sold 1/1/2022) - MRT: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=201450

You shouldn't let the tank get really low each time, the fuel cools the pump so with very little fuel in the tank it can allow the pump to get hot. Don't believe the listed 17 gallon capacity of the tank; that may be the actual volume, but not the usable volume. My wagon died while making a long sweeping turn (ran out of gas); I was able to coast to the bottom of an exit ramp, then restart and get to a gas station - it only took 15.3 gallons.
If you really want to know your mileage, keep a log. If you have a lot of oil in the plug wells, that can affect how well the plugs fire. Replace the tube seals (requires removing the rocker assembly) and properly adjust the valves when putting it back together.90 LX 4dr 5 spd 396,014 (sold 1/1/2022) - MRT: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=201450
