is there anyone running a 215/60 or a 215/55 on CD5 rims? i wanted to know if thats too wide and if i would expect rubbing.

    Presently: BFGoodrich 195/60r/15 8/10
but then again im running those up front, A yokohama touring on the back and another off brand on the other side. they grip very well. im gone around a 90 degree turn at about 40mph and they held their own. i may get some more yokohama touring because i like their tread pattern. id want to try them out and see how they handle.

Got some BFGoodrich G-Force Sports put on about a month ago. So far, They're great, low noise, thinner sidewall than my previous Fuzion Zri's and Tremendous grip. Don't really know how well they are in the rain, because ever since i put them on in early Oct. it hasn't rained! at all! I'd rate them a 10/10, they're perfect to me.

Idk, aren't OEM 15s only 5.5 inches in width? a 205 tire would be about a little over 8 inches in width at the contact patch. That might be risky running THAT wide of a tire on those. The only way would be to mount them up and see if there are any issues

yeah i think running 215s in general in the back makes me rub in turns, i'm going to try and roll my fenders this weekend.

dag. i was thinking i could because i have 195/60 right now. i was just hoping i could use a little bit of a wider tire.

Kumho Ecsta AST's- They're only a few weeks old, but so far they stick up to 50 Mph w/o squealing (at least none I can hear) Interstate merges rock with them.

im running a 205/60/15 tire on CD5 rims and they look good but i roll over the tire. so i have a lot of wear on the outer edge even at 38psi.

                            1. Hankook K102 205/55-15 (4/10) - too much tire noise due to wide tire pattern
                            2. Yokohama DNA db ES500 215/40-17 (8/10) - quiet, nice tire pattern for CB7
                            3. Dunlop SP9000 215/45-17 (9/10) - grip + stopping, really good.
                            4. Toyo Transas Teo 195/60-15 (7/10) - good for everyday driving

so i take it 205/50 is too wide for the CD5 EX rims because they will rub?
