So my car has 314,000 I figure these are pretty good numbers for the mileage.
I started this thread to get some opinions on how I should approach my small build for my engine. I'm on a budget (bought a house and getting married) and I wanted to put a cam in, do a valve job and possibly doing a port and polish for some better flow. I'm not sure if I am wasting my time by not completely overhauling the engine but I would like to avoid it. I also wanted to know if a mass amount of air coming out of the valve cover through the oil cap while the engine was running is normal? Is that blow by? I'm open to anything, just looking for reliable horsepower
My plans are just having this car for autocross not looking for a lot of power.
