    h to b transmission swap

so i've done as much research and searching on this subject as i can possibly find; but sadly all the information i am finding seems to be for putting the h22 into a civic/integra.

here's the rundown, my transmission is being a bit of a slut lately and not behaving like she should. instead of dumping money into trying to fix this one, i figure why not try to kill two birds with one stone and see if i can make my car a bit quicker while i'm at it haha.

    so here is my questions;

    1. beyond an adapter plate are there any other parts that will be needed?
    2. hopefully someone on here has this done and can chime in with speed/rpm/gearing notes?
    3. how specific are the b series trannies? is it only certain cars that will have the one i need? (ie 99 civic si tranny vs 95 civic ex?)

    Thanks in advance!!!!

They have been done in Preludes:

    You will need several things:
    Block shaving
    Axles
    Rods
    Shifter box
    Mounts

zealautowerks.com has you covered for #2

    3. Depends on your application.

    Good luck

          http://zealautowerks.com/transcalc.php

          That's the one you need.
Find the gearbox/gearing that you are going to use.
Input your rev limit for whichever engine you choose.
          Input tire size

It outputs a graph of speed vs rpm per gear
