ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Bumper, hood, fenders, and trunk lid crooked! Help?

Alright so my front bumper was taken off a few months ago before I bought it and the guy said he lost the black grooves that slide onto the white screw on the fenders to lift the bumper on the sides, and there's only a few push in pins holding the bumper on. Does anyone know where I can buy this? I don't know what they're called, but without them my bumper is horribly crooked as well as the fenders. The trunk leaks so I have it parked under the shed until that's fixed. Any advice?/:

Go buy them from Honda, they are not expesive. As for the trunk you'll need to find the leak. Search on here for the best things to look for when having a trunk leak.

For the trunk leqk, check your tail light gaskets.

For the trunk leak, check all the damn seals lol, I had the same problem. For the tail light seals use a rubber mouse pad and cut out the appropriate shape and replace the nasty old one. The trunks weather stripping is also fairly easy to work with.

For the bumper and fender, try those ebay quick release things lol. Know a guy who bought them and they seem to be working good

They're still available OEM? I have two extra sets right now, but am not in a position to sell right now

If they're not still available at Honda, there are plenty in the junkyards.
Cross-reference Honda part numbers with other models. You may find that the same parts are used on newer Accords, Civics, Integras, etc...

trunk leak is most probably your tailight gasket, its a common issue,
most people will tell you to fabricate your own or to use silicon...listen..the part is like 20$ at Honda..so fix it right and just get a new gasket...

                for the bumper brackets...junkyard..

trunk gasket? why? if yours is not ripped, you dont need to change it, like said worst case hammer the lip on wich it sit a bit upwards and thats it
buy new taillight gaskets instead, those dry out and leak in the trunk.

For the trunk leak: Also check out the 8 anchors for the rear window chrome trim. Each of them has a small seal similar to the tail lights. If the tail light gaskets are bad, they most likely are too. Some weather gasket sealer works great on them. The DPO of my Accord tried to use double sided tape... it did not work and I had a bad case of Waterfall fed Lake Honda (it might have worked had they removed the backing tape from the tops).
