Nova Scotia Lounge Thread

The last NS thread got shut down due to being in the beginner's section. My apologies to the mods if this isn't the right place.

It sounds like there are a few more NS members than we'd thought!

Let's get this thread going for introductions, chat and meet planning!

raf, Hopefully the other NS members who were over in your MRT will make their way over here. I'll post the link to my MRT in here rather than your MRT to help keep the focus on your car rather than NS happenings.

Here is my CB7:

Yeah thats a 92 - 95 obd1 f22a1 perlude ecu it puts the same engine as the accord to 135hp and people claim with the a4 manifold it puts you to 140. It was a differance I noticed right away. Picked it up in Truro and drove back to Oxford with it.... Then I drove around oxford for an hour haha. Oxford is about the size of the mall in Truro. I'm also looking for an IAB solinoid and vacuum box if ya know anyone that has one kickin around.

Careful with offers for buying/selling stuff in this thread... the mods might not like it.

By the way, was your accord with the F20b up on kijiji a few months back? I might be mistaken and the kijiji one may have had an f22b.

So, when should we try and get a meet happeining?

This is perfect guys!
It has been for a while that the Canada section is only used by Ontario members.
Lets get some threads for each region up!
I'd like to see some more of the Vancouver and Alberta members here in the Canada section.

But yeah if your going to sell do a PM, don't post it publically.

I think a vacuum box and solinoid would work for either engine, I have the diaphram for the h22 but it didn't come with the rest. August on a weekend maybe good for me to goto the meet, not sure what my work schedule will be but I'll try and make it anyway, I supervise on a multi million dollar fresh blueberry line so time off is not possible but I'd love to go!

The Black 4 door from newglasco has an f23a1 in it I guess. Anyone have any weekends in August that they will be busy? I'm still not sure what my schedule will be yet, but rusty may also not be able to make it on a certain weekend because of work. Dang work always ruining our fun! Oh well with out work we wouldn't have our beloved cb7s I know I love mine, it's my second, loved my 4 door just as much it was just too far gone to salvage. Also if I'm gonna be able to make it I will be able to bring anything that people will need with me, even if you need a knob or a trim piece of anything it will be free as I am junking it anyway. I hope this post is more moderator friendly as I am not selling anything rather than giving it away haha. I am new to formus have read the rules but with so many it's hard to remember. Anyway I'll get ahold of mike in newglasco to let him know there will be a possible meet in truro. I don't think he has enough posts to join this thread yet.

Andrew

As 1990exr said, I might not be able to make it in August because I might be away for work. If I am in Nova Scotia for the meet, I'm available pretty much any time in the weekend and I'm always up for a drive.

It'll be mostly weekend by weekend for me and I can tell you that the first weekend of August is OK for me at this point.

On a side note, this summer weather rocks! Nothing like the past 2 summers. Been swimming every week. Only thing I hated about living in Halifax is no swimming. You could go to chocolate lake (blue lake it should be called) which is small and sucks, or to Blue Haven beach (I think that's the name) which is very rocky and packed. I won't mention the public swimming pool in Hali, ug, no.
