ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    TSX Steering Wheel Swap

I am interested in swapping my stock steering wheel for a TSX s/w. Are there any videos of step by step instructions DYI?

You need to swap a CD Accord column in first. CB columns are the wrong splining. CD columns have the correct spline count (33) I think for newer steering wheels to fit on. Then there’s the clock spring and the MDX combo switch holder. I think I used the CD Accord plastics around everything. Idk what plastics will line up perfectly with the ignition. I have a push button start so my whole ignition lock cylinder is removed. My mrt has pics of the setup.

Is the 02-07 accord coupe wheel essentially the same thing as the tsx wheel? And what MDX parts are needed for this conversion?

I used the center airbag from an 03-07 Accord Coupe in my TSX wheel so yeah they are at least very close in looks. I used a clock spring from the same year Accords also but to get everything to lock together you need an 01-06 Acura MDX combo switch holder. Read my mrt. There’s more info and pics there.

I went thru your mrt after I saw this post, even watched the YouTube video of your car, you've done a lot of remarkable upgrades and I wanted to comment directly on your mrt, but I'm still in thread post purgatory! Ha thank you for putting in the years of MDX that you used, some of your DIY is lacking that info in your mrt. I'm not knocking your stuff, but it makes it tougher on the new guys that aren't fluent in all the interchangeable parts. Plus, there's not as many Acuras as there are hondas in my PAP. Thanks again and sorry if I hi-jacked, just looking for more clarification.
