I'll have to find the thread, but it was one of the few lengthy build threads (with video) that I actually followed completely. It was a husband and wife that built a Factory Five 818 together. The thread started with them taking delivery of the kit, and progressed through the entire build. Time-lapse videos showed practically every stage of the project. They were meticulous, both in the build and the documentation of it, and it was quite impressive. I believe the thread was still going when I reached the end at the time. At the time I finished reading/watching, they had the car out for a track day.

The Center of the Universe
This one isn't a car, but this guy's garage and the property it sits on. He fully rebuilt everything on the property as well as clearing all the land of rusted artifacts and natural growth. Lots of history here.
