ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    H22 swap power steering options

I have a 91 h22 swapped CB9, currently running the f22 power steering pump and bracket but its hitting my hood and making a dent on it. I know one of my options is to go with the 92-96 power steering pump, bracket and line but I also read somewhere that of I get a 97+ prelude bracket it will be a direct bolt on and I can still use my f22 pump and line.

Has anyone used the 97+ prelude power steering bracket? Do I have to modify anything or is it really direct bolt on with the f22 pump?

I have the F22 PS as well & I have the same issue.

I am pretty sure that the bracket & pump will all be fine but.....
I think our issue lies with in the power steering hose.

Search on google: H22 power steering www.CB7Tuner.com

I was in the process of getting the H22 PS a while ago but I forgot
exactly all what is needed for the 97+ setup.

    Someone chime in!

Just run no power steering because racecar.

I believe ESP has a poster steering bracket that may alleviate this issue but I’m not 100% sure.

Of course. I haven’t driven with power steering in the accord for about 10 years. You get use to it. The hardest part is when you sitting still.

Honestly even with 7.5 wheels sitting on asphalt no power steering really isn't that bad. A full manual conversion where there is no pressure build up in the system, is nothing like a failed pump where you are physically moving the hydraulic fluid for the power steering pump. The effort required to turn a system with no pressure really isn't a whole lot more effort than just turning the wheels with power steering. With looped lines and pressure build up, turning effort is quite a bit harder.

I hate no ps. I ran a h22 pump, with an oem 4th gen prelude line. The line didn't fit the accord so I cut the haedine shortA d bent it to fit the accord area and reflared the end. Wasn't hard.
sold! But here's my build thread for those interested.
