    OE rim fitment question

I purchased a set of 94-95 Accord EX Wheels and I noticed with all OE Wheels the fitment looks narrow compared to aftermarket wheels. That's obviously because the aftermarket wheels or wider but I'm curious if anybody's put wheel spacers to make them flush with the body. Or if there's any downfalls to doing that. I tried doing a search and nothing came up. Thank you in advance.

I have S2000 Rims with wheel spacers, I don't see any issue putting spacers on OEM RIMS.

What size of rim and tire were you running?
And what size of rim and tire are you currently running?

Remember, rims are not design to stand flush with fender, but instead to move freely within the wheel arches. YES it looks better when they are flush or even slightly protruding from the fenders, but that's just aesthetics. The geometry in which the vehicle handles and moves will change when you start pushing the wheel outward.

I concur with Alex, I don't see a need for spacers with OE rims.

if you must use spacers use good quality ones (H&R, Ichiban) and I wouldn't do that without better wheel studs such as what ARP sells. Cheap insurance against your wheel ripping loose because the studs broke.

I’m not a fan of spacers, but if it must be done, this is the way to do it!

Wheel width and offset determine the look. I don’t remember for certain, but 5th gen wheels may actually have a higher offset than 4th gen wheels. Wouldn’t hurt to look it up.

            OE rim fitment question

That is clearly a result of the reseller's exchange wheels or more extensive yet I'm interested if anyone's put wheel spacers to influence them to flush with the body. Or, on the other hand, if there are any defeats to doing that. I had a go at doing a pursuit and nothing came up. Essay Writing Helper online Much thanks to you ahead of time. Keep in mind, edges are not intended to stand flush with the bumper, but rather to move uninhibitedly inside the wheel curves. Indeed, it looks better when they are flush or even marginally jutting from the bumpers, yet that simply feels. The geometry in which the vehicle handles and moves will change when you begin pushing the wheel outward.

I've got some 20mm H&R spacers on my other car's wheels and the only disadvantage is that I now can't torque down to specs that are really high, or else the steel studs in the spacers will strip. Then you won't be able to get your wheels off without drilling out the spacer studs. Guess how I know?

But this particular car has a very high suggested torque on the wheels anyway, like 140 ft-lbs, so it's no wonder. On our cars, what's the torque on the lugs supposed to be? Eighty, ninety ft-lbs? Shouldn't be a problem unless you go all He-Man on them.

If you get the right width of spacer, they can make a big difference on the stance of your ride. This to me is the cheapest acceptable way to get a good looking stance, rather than the wheels rolled over as if you broke a ball joint.

Good spacers are fine. The only real issue people have when running spacers are if they use slip on spacers on stock studs. Bad idea. I highly reccomend 25mm+ hub centric spacers. Best way to do it.

Are you running that size spacer on your stock wheels?
