There's a section in the Classifeds that shows you step by step how to arrange a private ebay sale. That way, you have ebay's protection.
I've been scammed on here myself because I was naive and stupid. I have no sympathy for anyone that gets scammed. Empathy, perhaps, but no sympathy.
Wayne is often a stand-up guy, but he's been known to flake and run around in circles. Honestly, a road trip is your best bet.

I'm sorry to say, but anyone who willingly sends money to someone they don't know and can't physically reach is naive, and can learn from such a situation. I have no sympathy for people who don't protect themselves.
I have talked to Wayne. He says he intends to send everything, but he's out of money (where it went, I couldn't tell you... but that's the story). You have 3 options:
1. Wait and get your stuff (or not)
2. Contact the authorities
3. Contact a lawyer
or 4. Go to his house and beat his ass... but that won't get you your money back, unless he happens to be a very rare blood type.
Bitching about it on this forum is going to get nothing acomplished. YOU sent the money to someone you didn't know. YOU are at fault. If you're going to stand on the tracks, don't blame the train when it hits you. Scammers suck, I know. I've been there. However, there are instructions on how to protect yourself provided on this site. You chose to ignore them, so that's on you. If you didn't see them, you chose not to read the stickies. On you.
