Exhaust parts

I will perform leak check on this header before installation. I had to spend another $200 on top of cost of Bisi header just to make it possible to install onto my car. I think I can call this one SUGIMOTO Header Assembly after my family name.

Thank you for your comments.

It's a shame that the header costing this much is a leaker from get go. $50 generic header didn't leak for two years till the flange gasket went bad.

Many people paint black, but I painted hood white. It was free paint. It didn't come out that good but better looking than faded hood.

Changed plastic wheel cover to metal rings. They give the car more aggressive look if you ask me.

I need to find a set of center hub caps. I have ones for Civic steelies but they are small in diameter.

Thank you for comments. I need positive comments from people because I am a procrastinator with capital P. I have bad habit of buying parts and let them sit for a while since I am such person.

This is the first time I've seen some caption their photos. I actually really enjoyed the way you did it. Easy to read and informative.

Looks like you've got a good build going on.

Thank you guys!!

Today, I took some time to see how good/bad the Bisimoto header really is, as far as leaking issue is concerned. Check the photos below.

So, there you have it. Big time FAIL on QC on their part, if you ask me. And you know, mine is not the isolated case as JoeyG will tell you.

The current header on the car is leaking, too. I had fabricated home-made gasket. It was OK for a week or two. Now, I learned the SUBARU Legacy's exhaust is good to use for my generic header. So, I bought a set from Advance Auto near me. See the photos below.

Looking great man. Sorry to see/hear about the bisi header not "working" right. How did the Subaru gasket work for ya?
