    Cb7_Qc : 1992 Accord EX-R

i think its time to show you guys my cb7! been using this site for help and ideas ever since i got my first accord, this is my 5th one!!! and my last one hopefully, its like a girlfriend, once you find the right one, its a keeper!
i try to keep my car as clean and original as possible, avoiding all ''fast n furious'' type of modifications, besides the mags its kind of a sleeper

    ps: im a poor photographer
and btw the picture showing the gap between the mudflap and the fender was taken during sidekirt fitting process, 10min later it was resting flush to the car hehe

so here it goes, thats what she looked like when i got her about 5 years ago:

    and as she sits now:

and those are from last year, when i had a jobber, unpainted, front bumper...thought it gave it a meaner look but i went back to a classy look by getting an OEM one and painting it as you can see in first pictures

    ---Modifications---

    Engine and drivetrain:

    H22a JDM closed deck (92-95)
Chipped and street tuned P28 ECU
    MSD 8,5mm spark plug wires
    No-name SRI with K&N filter
    M2A4 transmission
    Bully stage 3 clutch
    Fidanza lighweight flywheel

    Suspension and handling:

STD R1 full coilovers (Standard Suspension)
Energy Suspension master polyurethane bushing kit
    Ingalls front camber kit
    Wicked Tuning rear camber kit
Megan Racing anodized red front/rear strut bars
    Brembo plain discs
    PBR ceramic pads
Motegi MR-7 17'' mags painted black
    Continental Contisportcontact SSR3 Tires

    Exterior:

    CD5 ex-r front lip
    CD5 ex-r sideskirts
    Shaved antenna

    Interior:

Stock, besides a little skull hanging off my mirror

    Future plans:

    reassemble new sleeved motor
    engine bay restoration (rust)
    complete body restoration (in progress)
add a resonator and re-route external wastegate pipe to be internal
    braided SS brake lines
    Tinted Windows
    SPC front camber kit
Window visors all around (OEM if i can find some)
Color change the interior (black vinyls/ stock burgundy carpets) (almost done)
BMW e46 projector retrofit with black housing (in process)
Tint tail lights all red (besides backup light)
    Upgrade transmission to LSD diff.

here is my freshly airbrushed valve cover, wood grain effect FTW!!!
honnestly i have achieved this effect better in the past...but i think its still decent enough to avoid redoing it! its missing the clear, wich i will do tomorrow, ill post another pic once its installed! let me know what you guys think!

well it is now installed! so here is my new engine bay!
i wrapped the spark plug cover with carbon wrap and painted the valve cover bolts and washer silver/anodized red to match the strut bar and the intake manifold bolts. now im thinking about what could i woodgrain next? lol maybe the distributor cap and all oil reservoirs also...maybe the short ram? hmm not sure about that one maybe ill just paint it silver...we will see, im taking a break for this year i think
