So lets get another good showing of CB7Tuners into this one.
Since we're getting into the time of year where the trees will be turning
and the forest and mountains look awesome I figured it's time for a cruise
WHAT: Skyline Drive Cruise
WHEN: October 23rd, 2011
WHERE: Pretty obvious... Skyline Drive,Shenandoah National Park
DIRECTIONS: Google it or follow these... http://www.visitshenandoah.com/media..._to%20_snp.pdf
We'll meet at the Dickey Ridge visitor center just past the Front Royal entrance BY 12:45 (earlier preferred).
We'll hang out there and wait/hope everyone makes it in time, and AT 1:30 we'll roll out from there.
We will determine how far to drive when we meet up.
We will take pictures at random overlooks along the way.
so bring a camera if you want some.
We almost all drive modified vehicles so we will attract attention from park
police as is, shenanigans are acceptable while hanging out, NOT while driving.
Speed limit is 35 MPH almost the whole route but no one i've ever seen on that drive actually goes 35 (it is in virginia after all),
those of us with modified suspension may like taking turns a little faster, it is not a competition to see who can take them the fastest.
Be a responsible driver.
No burnouts
No loud Music
No drugs
No alcohol
No littering
No explicit sexual activity
No guns Not real ones at least
No explosives
No stupid people
Basically the Baltimore folks will have to act like adults, I know its hard.
It's a national park... just use common sense. Those of you who lack that, stay at home because the police WILL stop you.
Pets must be in the car or on a leash at all times and please remember to clean up after them.
Most of all Enjoy the drive! (Fill your fuel tank)
