    INT: self diag tool

As most of u know the accord(cb7) is equiped with the (diy) self diag plug (obd-1) in which most people here just take a 2 pins and join them together, but gettin a CEL light is one of the most distrubing lights in the cluster, especialy cuz u have to pull the carpet and get the plastic piece underneath the dash find the plug stick something in it andcount the flashes.

honda made the plug (too expensive) and also the scan tool (for stupid people),

here's how to make ur own, ill also show u how u can make ur own on the go tool for the people like me that are constanly getting CEL's

    parts needed:

    OEM front speaker plug
    black tape
    wire
    on/off switch
    drill bit
    electric drill

    step:1

pull the carpet, the plastic piece and find the plug

    step:2

cut and splice the 2 end together

    step:3

    wrap it with black tape

    step: test it

working? good now everytime a CEL pops up u dont have to be busting ur as making a jumper

now for the CEL on the go

    step: 1

open the glove box and drill the hole on the specific place u want it i choose the corner

    step: 2

take some wire and make the splice to the diag plug

    step: 3

    test it

good? now everytime a CEL pops up u aint got to worry bout touching ur clean carpet with those dirty hands

    enjoi

You can also use a 1990 accord cel plug because its female just like the speaker one, that way it will be blue also

I see you used a push button switch, I am going to wait until I can find something more like a toggle switch though so I don't have to stretch my hand to hold down the button the whole time.

Also, I need a toggle if I want to jump it to set the ignition timing

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

on our obd 1 cars the CEL blinks, on the 90's (and 91s?) the ecu also has a light that blinks

if ur legend is from 90-95 the yes it will work
but i wont for ur 3rd gen, cuz of being OBD-0, this is for obd-1 only
