      Ya, having a lense fabbed up would look nice...I'd make it an amber lense though. I was actually thinking about using a flat-topped LED instead. Something like this:

        I had thought of this with some sort of clear lense so that when it was off, it would be hard to see. Resin would probably work well. How well do you think resin would hold up to temp changes?

        maroonAccord - is that LED flat or concave?

          The resin would be okay, and those are flat-top LEDs. The concaves would work to though.....

                  using a dremel or rubbing the tip of the LED on some fine grit sandpaper turns em into flat tipper's... sand em flat so they are flush with the moulding.

                  i would be doing this if i didnt have s2k sidemarkers...
