I had to cut off the bump stop brackets by hand. With a saw. I'm happy it got done, but it was NOT fun. Worth it because my axle doesn't hit the frame anymore.

Somebody broke into my shop and stole the Ryobi tools. It turned a 15 minute job into a 2.5hr job. If I see that shit happening I'm putting a few 157gr hollow points in their asscheeks. Damn crack heads in L5P..

    So - so very sore.

Or we can help them start a lead collection. Today was arm day for sure.

I hear that 000 buck and hollow slugs are extremely effective for that purpose

Hmm they look like the smokey and the bandit ones, the GTA wheels for the late 80's look like the grand nationals in gold or black.

One day I'll get there. I'm thinking about a brushed look on the mesh because I'm lazy & it'll show contrast. Hand polishing is easy guys, just so incredibly time consuming

I saw some Youtube vid where a kid put his Conquest or Starion wheels I think on a brake lathe to polish up the lip and they came out fantastic. Yours are getting there.

did you see the one where they put the car in stands and in gear ro polish the lip, pretty much same as lathe method except no lathe.

That method works for the lips, but not the mesh parts, which is the dilemma. There's machine marks on all the wheels that I have to knock down which is the time consuming part.. tires are coming Friday, so I gotta get a move on.

What size are you going with? 275/50r15?

215/60r15. It's the +1 size so the speedo will be accurate. 275 is super wide for a 7" wheel!

for calibration purposes that size will work and so will it for rim size since it allows for a maximum wheel width of 7.5 inches. For performance it will be hindering as the tire is a bit narrow.
