Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

I always wondered what each of those things would cost. Machine work seems so exotic to me that I always assume it would all cost an arm and a leg.

i was expecting it to be a little bit less, say around 2-2.5k... but really nothing was crazy expensive its just a ton of small stuff besides the MID sleeve install

BTW still looking where to grab coolant from for the turbo if anyone knows

little update i tested the piston to valve clearance and have probably around 1/4 inch, barely even showed on the play dough i used. so we are good to go on that, going to torque the head down whenever i get back out there(was midnight so time to stop).

bisi stage 1.2 and yes he didnt take very much off though, just enough for clearance for piston to head

For your coolant needs bypass your throttle body coolant lines and run them to your turbo. Good looking build. L8r

i wouldve started with a cherry crank that only needed a balance and polish or put the money towards knife edging.

align hone isnt really necessary unless the block really moved from the new sleeves.

seperate price for bowl hog and valve job? i really didnt think the fly cut is necessary, most hondas don't have that much lift or duration. that shop really got you.

line hone because of arp main studs
and im guessing it uses a different bit for bowl hogging and doing a valve job? not sure on that one really
and fly cut because they stuck out of the block 17 thousands, arias reccomends that the clearance from piston to head is 40 thousands(with head gasket)
