Does purge canister purge after a drive?

I just replaced my evap canister and some other things. I now hear the evap canister purging right as i cut off engine. Before it never did this. Is this normal?

You sure you aren't hearing the intake? I know when I had an intake on the car it would sort of breathe or purge when I cut the car off.

Air intake? I didn't know i could ever hear something from that inside of car. Am pretty sure it is the evap canister. I hear it purging while driving sometimes and it sounds like same sound and location when i cut off car.

Listen at the end of the video though this is a ford same concept. You will hear the intake purge when the throttle body closes https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=FVFXgK1B5wk

no definitely not the air intake purging. Car sat for 3 years so am thinking it is another clogged solenoid somewhere.

Anyone. Got to be a pretty short list what is causing this. Some fuel pressure relief valve not working. I am at a loss.

Hey could it be my timing was way too advanced. Like 60 btdc(give or take). Would that cause an issue with purging?

I drove it a few miles today and heard nothing. Even while cutting car off. Extreme advanced timing seems the cause of this. I wonder what other issues it might be responsible for. It was at like 60 BDTC. I will listen some more over next week or so.
