Had to scrap that project. Cost to much and it was just a plain fail. i was trying to no only retrofit projectors but make auto leveling ones as well. never worked out like i wanted it to and it ended up looking like shit in my prototype head lamp. one of these days when i have the money i may try it again.

as of now im running hid in stock head lamps. i know shame on me right. im still trying to save up fore the morimoto lenses so i can do it right the first time

Auto leveling headlights. I don't know any specifics of your project, but it's a great idea. I know it would be expensive and maybe even considered, and mutiny to some. Did you start off with a set of JDM headlamps for your project? The reason I mention it is because the JDM housings are like 6 different pieces when taking them apart. Unlike the usdm ones which are only like 2 pieces. The low beams and high beams are buckets that are installed in place within the housing. Whereas the usdm headlamps, the buckets are the housings. To me they just seem like lend themselves better from the start for this type of project.

I used 1 usdm headlamp from a part out car on CL. The parts were buy 1 get 1 free i got it free with my new brake light.

Then honestly. After just giving it some thought, I think it's totally possible with some minor modifications. Just need to be willing to sacrifice a set of JDM headlamps to do it.

thats the thing! i really dont want to cut into some JDM 1pc just to do a science project, which really is what it is!

im trying to get my hands on a busted ass one that no one wants and is pretty much unsalvegeable.
