    only 20mpg?

    I have a 91 lx pretty stock. i got 350 miles to this tank, i was under the impression i had a 17 gallon tank...that means i only got 20mpg? is this right? wtf thats shitty.

    Manual: 24 mpg / 31 mpg
    Automatic: : 22 mpg / 28 mpg

    *both out from the factory. 0 miles.

    Proper tune-up and driving are the key.

      I have a 92 lx, when i filled up today it said 13 gallons, i usally get 300 to the tank(under heavy pedel use). So thats...(calculateing)23 roughly.

        damn thats pretty low but not that bad either. My F22B DOHC gets me 28+mpg

          fuckin weak, what can i do to get better mileage?

            u dont burn the whole 17, most fill-ups take ~14g... next time u fill up, reset the odo, then fill up again and the pump will tell you how many gallons you burned, THEN do the calculation

                mine was on E when i filled up, yeah it was very close to 14 but i always hit the odo when i fill up.

                    What is the secret? Coz I got like approx. 434 miles for 13 gallon on Highway at constant 80 mph. And on city w/ A/C on maybe around 24-26mpg. Is that normal?
