Nice looking 92 EX sedan auto - I may not be able to resist going to look at it. Edit: I snoozed, I loozed. Ad is gone.

Rear tint could have been done better.

That would be worth the price. Now I need a sedan because I picked up a rare car cover for a literal steal. I just realized I haven't been posting here as much.

I was actually on vacation and went to the Honda Heritage Center although it was small I had a great time just gawking over the cars..

        37k mile EX auto sedan:

        https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/...639130327.html

The dealer and temp tags make me wonder if they just bought it and are attempting a massive flip profit.

Saw your ad up, by the way, Mike. Too bad I'm not wanting a coupe, that's a great price.

Also, a serious race car, for those interested. Only used premium fuel.

Wow that is a nice EX! I still think $8,000 is a little steep.

Other mods suggest it's a sequential race 'box. Manual would slow you down compared to a modern automatic.

I think 8k is way too steep for that CB7. I only got $5800 for my 89' SEI Coupe w/ 42k miles on Bring A Trailer showcased to people. I eventually got close to 16k views on it as well, so unless its marketed to that extent, it won't get anywhere near that on Craigslist.

More like 4k would be the very top going price for that car since it really isn't anything special.

Agreed, however his marketing strategy could be more intentional than you're giving him credit for. Would a $4,000 price tag caused Cyborg to have posted the listing on here? Maybe not. Exposure intended as negative press is still exposure.

Do I think they meant it that way? No.

You can tell they bought it in hopes of making a profit especially when they say at the end perfect for a project.... I would hate to see someone hack that thing up.

He would've posted it regardless of the price since this is a CB7 enthusiast website.

But on top of the nice "original" car that you get, it'll most likely need a timing belt/WP job and a new steering rack like mine did, if it just sat for 20+ years. Its not a reliable daily unless someone spends the money to make it that way.

I ended up spending close to $1000 in parts not including my labor to bring my low mileage car back to driving condition. My entire cooling system was rotted out, radiator was plugged up, original belts and mounts needed changing desperately and the AC needed a evac and recharge and a ton of new o-rings. Its a bigger project than most would initially think it is.

As the new owner starts driving that car, these little annoyances will pop up within the first 500-1000 miles

For the price he's asking, he should do all that work to it before selling it.

Correct. Enough honest interest in the car would bring the seller down to earth. Some of you are willing to travel for your car purchases, so any car I post is for those people.

*Ed. - and I just noticed a modified Subaru wagon in the back of one shot. If that's his, then the "project" comment makes sense. That's honestly what I see: one of the most perfectly flawless canvases to start with, when your plan is to rebuild and improve most of the car anyway.

That mileage with that bay and those faded side moldings makes no sense.

That car looks a LOT like one Austin bought from a friend's dad a few years ago to flip. And it's in Maryland.
