So I was browsing craigslist

I'm here about to fall asleep working graves. I remembered one of my classmates in highschool had a clean and fast ISUZU impulse and I was wondering what they sold for in the locals. The GEO Storm is just another clone of this car and I happened to stumble upon this.

http://stockton.craigslist.org/cto/2988962650.html

It's posts like these that make me laugh and entertained. Granted the car may be fast but the exterior doesn't look all that well. He should at least finish the body work and give it the $200 MACCO job then sell for his asking price.

I love his descriptions and can just picture it in my mind...
"Dyno dude talkin bout "that shit stupid nutty"
"My shit straight be snatchin off the line like "crunch" when i brake boost."

Seller should keep it professional and not too gansta so everyone can understand LOL

Yeah... imagine how much power is going to the front wheels, if the rears are getting 260!

It's sad. They actually ARE pretty sweet cars, and quite uncommon. Lotus even did the suspension on some of them (thanks to GM being a parent company of both Isuzu and Lotus)

Check it out:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isuzu_Piazza

1st gen was making 180hp in 1985. It was RWD or AWD.
2nd gen only made 160hp, but came in FWD and AWD.

I think it's a joke.
Actually, it IS a joke, whether the seller intended it to be or not!

If it was a perfectly preserved, restored, and potentially PROPERLY modified example... then it might be worth a trade for a bugeye WRX.

I kinda like the 1st gen better.

It's a Giorgetto Giugiaro design, which is cool.

I had one 16yrs ago.I had the first gen, slow and my friend with a 85 toyota gts twincam use to smoke me by alot. But is a rare car that you dont see anymore. the inside use to make me feel like i was in a space shuttule. The hatchback style is timeless, but not much aftermarket for that model

Same designer. A lot of his designs in the late 70s/early 80s were quite similar.
