    back from the dead again. Does anyone know which sensor is located in the RED ring in the picture below?? Is that the knock sensor?? Every engine i look at, it's broken off. I'm talking about an engine that is not in the car.



    Here is a better picture of it:



    It's the threaded hole on the back of the block.

      ^^^ either knock or the oil pressure sensor. but I dont remember which is higher...


      btw...

      I found some info for the coolant sensors...


      OBD2 H22...


      radiator fan switch=one just behind the termostat.
      engine coolant tempature (ECT) sensor=big one under the dizzy.
      engine coolant tempature (ECT) guage sending unit=skinny one (single wire) under the dizzy

      OBD1 F22...

      engine coolant tempature (ECT) switch A=one just behind the termostat.
      engine coolant tempature (ECT) switch B=one on the upper/front part of the engine. where the upper radiator hose goes to.
      engine coolant tempature (ECT) guage sending unit=skinny one (single wire) under the dizzy
      engine coolant tempature (ECT) sensor=big one under the dizzy.

            My fuel pump isn't under my rear seat. Or at least I don't have a maintenance access cover under my rear seat.

              That is the knock sensor. The oil pressure is under your yellow circle.
