ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    shifting issues

i have a 93 se w/ auto tranny, my mounts are fine, and my fluid level is fine...the car shifts hard (can feel and see the engine raising when it shifts)
any ideas how i can fix this?

My car does the same thing, mostly when I go from park to D4, I read somewhere that you could add a can of lubegard to the fluid to help, some sort of PSV additive, but not sur tho, please confirm people.....
on gas pedal, IMHO my ride looks awesome altough its 100% stock, its cleanliness and its frost white color are the only mods I need....

no you are talking about a diffrent problem he is saying that his tranny shifts at high rpms. I have the same problem but I have learned to deal with it so I give less gas and it shifts right around 3,000 before when I gave it normal gas pressure it would shift at 3,900 im still trying to find out whats wrong and when I do find out I will inform you too

You could also try to flush all the transmition fluid and replace it with new one...

I just replaced the transmission in my 92 LX and it shifts hard as well. When I accellerate hard though, it seems to shift smoothly. It goes into gear hard when shifting to reverse or any of the drive gears. I know the transmission fluid is good as I replaced it with genuine Honda ATF. I am going to take my car to the local tranny shop and see what they say. What the hell, it is a free check!!

Its normal....Our cars trannies do shift hard...Its natural for it. My 90ex auto did it with fluid changes at proper intervals and such.
