    sonikaccord : 1992 Accord EX

    Project: Nina

I guess I should finally make this now that I'm out of school and blah, blah...

I have had tons of projects that I never finish because I move on to something else. I have grown out of that somewhat

I'll upload random project pics as the thread grows.
I'm focusing on tightening up my suspension this year. The car has given me thousands of miles of awesome, reliable, stock performance. Now it's time to treat her to what she deserves.

    Current status as of 10/14/2013

Wet sanded, waiting on compound, polish, wax....even though the paint is trash.
This was a shits and giggles, spontaneous type of thing. It's also good practice. Slightly polished my tails too.

      Thanks.

It's crazy how much oxidized paint comes off in the process. I think I started at too low of a grit than I had to. 400 to 2000.

Did that ball joint press work on all those bushings?

I had to cut the metal ring then hammer it out with a chisel.

It worked on all of them except the rear upper arm bushing. I kept bending and distorting it. So I got some more from the jy and cut those out.

I believe I paid around 200 for the kit.

Thanks, I like the aggressiveness of the vigor headlights off the car. Wherm's conversion looked pretty clean, except I'll have a stock bumper and a custom grill made. That's the image I have in my head.
There is a pair of all clears fs right now...I think unless someone grabbed them already.

Wherm did a One piece vigor or legend headlight swap years ago. It looked like a lot of bodywork.
I would get a JY hood and practice. Or maybe you are a body man now.

It looked pretty involved. I don't think quite as involved as his bb6 dash swap though

I'm nowhere near a body man, through years of several f'ups I have learned to take my time doing things.

Update: I got my GC coilovers in the mail, and I have to go pick my esp mounts from the PO, the rest of my ESP bars should be here soon. I should post a video of how much body roll the stock suspension has...
