ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    OEM heated mirrors?

did our cb's come with the option of heated mirrors.I was looking on ebay and found these-
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/320893107586...ht_2218wt_1168

he says these mirrors are HEATED, they have 5 pin instead of four like usual. he has a couple he says are heated, the other ones just say powered.

I believe it was an option (or a standard feature on better models) in Canada. I don't believe any US models had the option.

i thought it was from canada because i know they have heated seats, but couldn't find anything but the acura cl heated mirror swap on here.

Yeah, I had to look up "canadian cb7 heated mirrors" on Google, and it still didn't really give any concrete evidence. The Canadian members can probably clear it up pretty quick! OR tippey... because he seems to know every little rare detail about every foreign CB there is!

You're going to have to figure out how to wire em up... we're certainly not going to be equipped with that wiring in the US!

They were on Canadian SE models and will physically bolt right in assuming they are sedan mirrors for your sedan or coupe mirrors for your coupe. The wiring can be done sort of like you are saying but lucifer1 recommends tying it in to the back of the fuse box under the dash. You want to tie into connector 503, I believe. It's a 2-pin connector that is right after the rear defroster relay so that the mirrors are on a relay as well.

Heated mirrors came standard on '93 Canadian SE's only... Not sure if it was optional on other trims. That and the heated seats.

It's because it snows year round up here bbbrrrr

Standard stuff here in Finland too, nice during the winter with the polar bears. (Disclaimer: There are no actual polar bears in Finland)

So its true that the heated mirrors and seats that my buddy and I would discuss do exist just were not produced here in the states?

All the CB's I've seen here in Finland come with both equipped. So yes, definitely.

Yes, they came with the same switches that the '98-'99 3.0CL had. It's just a single switch for each seat that goes in the console.
