Final test fit. Now I'll spread a coat of glaze over the whole thing and sand it out with 80 grit. Then it's ready to get wrapped

I'm pretty sure you are, but you sould wrap it with the same material you used for your rear panels, then it will look like it belongs there. Freshness!

That's the plan, it'll be 2 tone like the rest

I have to do some experimenting, but gonna use plexiglass and etch the logo with my sandblaster and illuminate with red led's.

I stopped by my friend's house last night (the one that wrapped my interior) so we could kick around some ideas for wrapping the box. Think we got it nailed down, and he gave me an awesome idea for how to do the amp rack and cover piece. I'm ppretty excited about getting that portion started now, because up until last night I wasn't sure what direction I was going to go. I had a few ideas, but wasn't sold on any of them. Gotta finish the box first though so that it's bolted in and situated exactly the way it'll stay. More updates coming soon! Love

One more fit check, this time with sound also. I wanted to see what, if any, difference there would be now that the area around the box is sealed off. It still sounds incredible, so I'm going to finish it up and get it to my friends shop for some more suede.

Is porting it to the trunk going to cause sound wave cancel? Or is that why you ported it to the trunk?

I ported it into the trunk because it's difficult to put the ports on the front and still get a nice clean look. It can be done, but unfortunately due to the small box size requirement and my design I didn't have room to put the ports on the front. I'm not noticing any cancelation, I was concerned how it would sound after completing the facia, but it sounds great. I even tipped the box forward while playing and didn't notice much difference.
