The lugs that I used on the mag rims on my CB7 are getting really rusty. Are there any other better lugs that I can use on these mags that won't rust this bad?

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Those lugs are universal lugs that all the Local car/tire maintenance shops use. They work and I admit I had a set a long time ago with my ADR rims back in the day.....but they are a thief's dream. Basically everyone has the same lug keys as you and if they really wanted to, they can jack your rims.
Another thing about them is that they can rust on the inside and break your lugs if it seizes. (Reason why I upgraded to project kics) They are high quality yet expensive but not everyone would want to spend over $130 for lugs but that means less chance of someone sharing the same lugkeys as you. I then changed to Mugen basic chrome lugs
Or run those lugs but add a very good security lugnut. Project Kics "Bull Lock" is supposedly good.Last edited by Warudakumi; 09-25-2014, 08:14 AM.

I've got Rays lightweight aluminum lugnuts. I got them for free from a friend, I think they retail for like 180, but they're super light and have a heptagonal (7 sided) key lock that a run of the mill thief will not have. Mine are the older ones with slots cut in that only the key will fit over.
Not to mention you need a really thinwall 21mm socket to get these off, no regular 21mm will fit, so that is another line of security. Probably only Snap-on or Matco makes sockets that have clearances that low.

Yep, I picked up those lugnuts at a auto parts store when I first swapped the rims on the car. But I hate how bad they've rusted...

Do you live by the ocean? Your drum looks like its WW2 wreckage. Use some anti seize on the threads (you will need to do this if you choose aluminum nuts), spray a little silicone spray on the outside of the lugs and they should stay decent looking.
You can use electrolysis to remove the rust from the lugs and paint them
