    awesome write up
been wanting to do this, chalk it up to reason number 456 why my car wont pass a state inspection lol ....

    a couple questions though:
    1. on the drivers side fuse box, what do you do here (after step one) remove a fuse?
    or is this tied into....
    2. ...this red dummy switch. is this located in that compartment, cuz if so, i might need to find one. and where exactly does this dummy switch plug into, the yellow coupling in pic one step two?

      1. yes you remove that fuse with that yellow cover on it.
      2. the red dummy PLUG is located in that little tiny cover of the compartment under the steering wheel. disconnect the airbag (yellow plug in the compartment) from the harness and put the dummy plug in its place.

i grounded it to the actual hub bolt and it worked fine for me...you know, that huge bolt that holds the hub...loosen it a bit, slide the wire underneath it and tighten it back up again and that should be it...pic after youre done

well i got the horn to work.

but now when i turn the wheel i cant get the wires to return...so it have wires showing during driving

i made a cutout on the side to allow passage for the wires didnt help
so i just left the covers off for now. looks fine now but if i want to drive i have some wires sitting in my lap...not good.

so im taking a break from the hot arkansas sun to think about how i can get this to work and still be clean without wires showing..

i mean dayam wiring my shift light was a breeze compared to this. and that required me to take out the center trim, gauge cluster, and run wires through the firewall..this one was all inside the cabin but cant make it clean!!!!!! ARHG!!!!!

i thought it was easy to install the horn for the non srs cars like the 90-91 accords...but dont worry, i have a wire hanging as well, i just gave it enough slack and added connectors so i could easily disconnect and tuck the extra wire whenever i want to show off a bit

its alot easier for 90/91.. but i still dont have a workin horn.. i already tried wiring it.. it just doesnt work right for me .. so i just use my chirper button...

yea overall the install was probably a lot easier than a SRS equipped car but im not talking about that part...im talking about making the whole thing look clean, like my MOMO wheel was supposed to be there the whole time.

im thinking im just going to wire up a button for the horn over where the cruise control is..that blank.

the quick release hub is just an add-on and not an actual hub...it goes between the hub and the steering wheel and adds about an inch or two making the steering wheel closer to you

                          UPDATE**

I just did this and you DO NOT NEED TO SPLICE.

When you take off the steering wheel mount, there will be a piece of copper on your left that hangs down. It sort of looks like the negative end when you plug in a double A battery into something. You can just tap into that and with the extra wire, tuck into the column. The ground can be the bolt or just the hub itself. I just taped the ground to the inside of the hub.

ALSO, THE BLINKERS RESET WHEN YOU TURN, I don't know what you did but mine resets. I drive a DX btw.

                          SCORE 1 for the dx'sssss

you could keep the horn and blinkers working for a 90-91 but not for a 92-93

I just put my steering wheel, Nrg #110 short hub and quick release on and i found a way to hook my horns up. When you disconnect the SRS system under the dash you will have the yellow connector still there. Put your wire (you will need about 24"inchs of wire) in the top left corner of the connect and at the other end of the wire put a piece of metal.(If u get the Nrg hub you will get a metal plate with a piece to slip on a metal connector). And the hub already has a ground on the hub. All you have left is to take out the srs bulb and your set.
