Geeeezz ... Now this Battery Light Issue

seems the ole cb9 is starting to have some good ole fashioned Lectricity problems lol.

For atleast a year now, the battery light has been on. It comes on from start to stop ..
First started out by flickering and then, not so much ... sometimes, it doesn't even come on for a few minuets,
and sometimes, it goes out after it just blared bright red for 5 min ...

Volt meter says alternator is fine, batter charges ... she starts right up every single time ..
I went to Cali and surfed San Diego for 3 days, came home, started right up ...

wow ... might take a Certified Honda Tech to figure this one out lol ...

i believe that dummy light is tied into the ELD which is part of the under hood fuse block. I think you can disassemble and swap in a new one, but ive just seen people change out the whole fuse block.

Wow ... I wouldn't have even thought about that Eric ..
So get a complete, new fuse box from a junk-yard and swap it?

if you have antilock brakes. looking at the FSM it can also be the ALB unit failing causing the light to stay on also
