Unhappy Need to find gauges write up...

A while back there was a guy that put up some awesome write ups about installing clear needles on the stock gauges and a full LED conversion. I can't find him or the write ups for the life of me. Anyone know where they are :-]

DIY has gone missing...has anyone seen it?

A few months back I came across a DIY that went into detail on taking out the power steering rack, cleaning the inside and re-greasing, while taking out the guts to make it a free flowing manual rack.

Well I deleted the link after I sold the car because I thought I would never use it again...Well the guy stopped paying for the car and I got my old cb7 back and would like to rebuild the rack and frankly our power steering rack is so slow; when trying to maneuver through a slalom I have to wait for my steering to come around so I would like to fix that

With out just simply looping the lines if possible.

Any Idea what I am talking about?

And Also thank you for helping me find that. I really haven't been able to find it through the search button on the forum and google combined. My power steering rack is leaking like a sieve and its time to rebuild it.

See at the top of the DIY section (not subforum) it says "Search this forum" with a little drop down box?

Click that and then type in "Rack"

I looked around and I could not find anything on DIY replace heater hoses.

any link in this forum? Is it to hard to do it yourself?

Mechanic is going to do the water pump/timing belt/tensioners. But I want, if possible , save some money on replacing the heater hoses myself.

I read here, when I posted a leaking under the distributor that it could cause the heater hoses to leak!

any help/link would be appreciated

Here I have a sticky proposal that I am willing to tackle myself. I was looking through the Interior section for a specific DIY, taking quite a bit of time to skim every page, only to find that what I wanted didn't exist. So, for convenience of other searchers, I am offering up organized indexes for each section as I have time. And I don't mind keeping them updated either! Here's a first example, for Interior. As much as I would have liked to do otherwise, I left the link names just as they were titled by the creators, feeling it's their own responsibility to be descriptive. If the mods like it, make it an unlocked sticky in that section and I'll get to work on the rest.

Yeah, it took a couple Bond movies to get through it, lol. Worthwhile though, I think. Thread is up in Interiors.
