ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    up grading my brake/suspension

i was goin to start my suspension work this next week i have the xxr 16x8 and the lowering springs and the camber kit i was wondering about if i could use bigger brakes then the stock.. i found a thread

    http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthre...ighlight=swaps

it was helpful bt will the bolt pattern change cuz i already have my wheels and i think the bolt pattern off the cb7 stock is 4 over 114.3 however my wheels fit 4 over 100 and 4 over 114.3 they have bolth patterns

so i was thinking i could use SI civic hubs or something

PLZ help and give me some threads or point me in the right direction thanks much appreciated..

You dont need anything Civic for hubs. If the wheels are both patterns, then you can use the wheels without modifying anything since 4th gen Accords stock lug pattern is 4x114.3.

Now of your looking to upgrade your brakes, try going with the ROH conversion. Prelude Vtec Calipers, Prelude Vtec Rotors, Acura CL hubs, and Accord Wheel Bearings.

for th ROH conversion do you have to get the baring pressed in the cl hub? and how hard is it taking the old hub and Bering out is it just a bolt off?

theres a race in the bearing that either needs to be cut out or chiseled out. a press would be easiest but not everyone has that luxury.

that race is pretty hard to take out. you cant reuse a wheel bearing if thats what you are trying to do.

^ tas has "bolt on" conversions for our cars, they arent to too expensive, but it's all brand new parts and doesnt require rigging of hubs they sell them for the conversion. also look at some of the "big brake" kits they have for front and rear they sell a complete front and rear ROH conversion, and if you have rear drums they have that kit also.
I recommend this as the other way requires much more work.( but hella cheaper lol) Good luck
