ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

At my yards we have at least 4 wagons each time I go. And that's at just one location.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

Now for the answer ....of course the JY answer is bogus as you won't find a wagon there with that remaining. Pictures a bit vague as to the location in trunk but I'd do see some familiar points of reference. If they are the panels that conceal the side storage compartments, they can be bought on Majestic Autoparts..A faster way to get it done, but a more expensive route. But you know that. I'm just telling you, best to see the part, buy it ..have it done next week.Better than walking and wasting time in a jy hoping a wagon is there...and if the wagon there if it is even your year...???
Here is the link. Just fill in the drop-downs with you car's specs.

yeah the junk yard replies are entertaining since its such a simple answer. But my bad for the pictures it's just hard to get by all the junk in the trunk (no pun) haha. The parts that are broken are the pieces you take off to get to the taillights. And then the side rail things for a cargo cover. My mind is slipping and I can't think of the name. But I'll definitely check that site and see what comes up. As for checking eBay. They never have anything. Nothing that specific or out of the ordinary at least.

Alright just checked that site. And I need illustration numbers: 13, 19, 20, 22. And I can't find 20/22 on the list below. And the side door cover thing (13) is like $100 more just because it's vintage red. (Which mine is) *sigghhh* this is why I don't like these sites. They're soooooooo expensive. But yeah 20/22 are the ones i want to fix the most. They have the most damage.

Surprise! Fixing up a Honda is not cheap. Those are discounted OEM parts you are looking at from a Honda dealer, their discount is close to 30% off list price. Also, if a part is not listed in the description, its likely been discontinued for a long time.

If you don't have the matching broken off pieces, then your only hope is junkyard or used parts from someone parting out a wagon. They are out there.

Best and most accurate response of them all! I even learned something. I did not understand why some #'s weren't shown. Now I do.
I have a coupe with the Royal Red...ugh what a color. Sadly, if you think another site will have it...that site will have the same parts picture and availability.Only price difference is what they offer.
So pay up. Or keep up the search...like we said...they are out there in some way...You may get lucky and a wagon with the red is being parted. The trunk parts are not usually an E-bay item and you can't get them from Coupes or Sedans...it's only a wagon thing. So you have to become a detective or check the sites like a vulture.... read the posts and see if someone got into an accident and is thinking to part it.
Good luck and I'm sure from your post...others will look for you too. I will and I'm the biggest PITA so I'm bound to see something.
              Keep the hope

Alright well I'm pretty sure anyone can agree that a couple hundred dollars on a piece of plastic is not worth it. But that's just my opinion. I guess I'll just scavenge around and try to find a part out.

Spent a bit of time looking and man...the private stuff just ain't there. Continue to keep searching...Craigslist the different cities and states you are willing to have it shipped from or picked up. I forgot your year as I type here, but I again will look around and notify you if I find something...does color matter? I thought those pieces were white? Go back ..clean out your trunk of every thing from the area. That junk just confuses as to what it is you are showing. Put all the parts as closely to the areas they belong and snap a photo. I say this so we can know what to look for...the dealer diagram is fair...I want to view it real.

plastic welding is the professional way to do it, like its been said before and then SEM products to reproduce texture and color.

just make sure you use the same type of plastic your parts are made of to weld your pieces back together, they sell ''uni-weld'' plastic strips but i find they dont work so well...

a good plastic weld will make the plastic as strong as it was before...i do it every day on bumpers and other random parts and if done correctly you hardly need any filler afterwards...just sand/prime/repaint

you can also use a metal screen mesh to reinforce your weld (or plastic screen mesh works too)

thats what i did for a friend who had a broken trim in his mazda gtr 323 because those cars are rare and he couldnt find a replacement part...besides the cost of the soldering iron, its pretty much a cost-free repair method.

Well, they just got rid of the whole row with 2 wagons. Then I found another one at another yard with maroon interior. Someone beat you to it, they took everything except the dash. They did have a gray one, they didn't have that little door but it had all the trim.

I live in a BIG city and have gone to a few JY's here. Never ever ever have I seen a wagon. EVER! And rare to even find an above 1991 Accord with the parts on it..hell with even a way to identify it as a Honda! These guys post it as if it's a supermarket or 7-11 for parts; "just go to the jy and pick up a part (don't forget the milk)".
Hehe, I just took parts for my dash out of a wagon at our JY today. Never lose hope on the JY! The one here also just brought in a pretty clean 91 sedan 7-1-13, so I got first dibs on a few parts off it today too that I had been looking for

The PicknPull here has like 10 cb7's maybe more right now and most are still pretty complete. It's made my cb7 project like a scavenger hunt out there

Edit: the picknpull here uses row52 on their site and it has a notification option. I'm signing up for it tonight.
