My photobucket limit went from 500mb to 300 mb overnight so I had to delete pretty much all my pics to find out what was the culprit. Turned out it was in my accord picture thread so that sucked.

Im not saying everyone in IL is a hater just where I went to school. First time I went there I was out washing my car...Out of nowhere people drive by and yell George Bush sucks (this is within the first week I was there minding my own business!) I assumed they saw my license plate and related me to the president. I love people like that. But oh well it was kinda easy to clean off at least.

Sucks about the pictures! But what does your license plate have to do with Bush? Is it cause he lives in Texas?

Yea...pretty much lol. I guess people do not take kindly to people from the south where I went to school? Most of the people I knew were cool but there were those few bad apples that liked to assume shit. Personally they love there politics up there I could care less so I don't see what I had to do with it and why they had to vandalize my shit. Yea I used brake cleaner on the plate and surrounding areas...Used sparingly on the paint so it wouldnt take it off then waxed over it. Seemed to be fine after that.

btw, do these gen TL's have a transmission problem? i ask b/c i want one and the 03-up v6 accords/mdx/pilots/TLs/odys all have this tranny being too weak for the motor. i already had my tranny replaced on my 04 v6 after 100k.

Yessir they do. Supposedly they remedied the issue from 06 and up. The 04-05 autos have the same issue as before as I recall. Mine is a six so I do not have issues the only issue that the six speeds have is the third gear synchro issue but some people solve it by using GM synchromesh. So far I haven't seen many problems on the newer Tl's but some people say the 04-05 had the same issues as the previous accords and so on. IF anything I would recommend looking at an 06 and up if your going auto.

yeah i read so many TSB on the accord and found the 6-speeds having a TSB on a gear but that's better than the whole tranny being bad. thanks for the info and a 6-speed TL is even more sexy!

It will take off paint like nothing. Not a good thing for auto paints so you want to use sparingly.

No prob timmy. The car overall other than that is a great car though. I only wished mine had navigation but oh well.
