    need help --> from a cell phone wiz

    i got a question..
    i have done a little research and found conflicting information so i figured i would see if anyone here has done it or tried it

    i want to know if i can clone a sim card so i can use two phones with the same number

    i know i wont be able to use them at the same time
    can this be done?

    im sure there is a way to do this but i haven't ran into the how to on this..... but from the research i've dont there hasn't been too many questions or answers on this... soo owith that said... good luck

        I would say no. Because this way you could be paying for 1 phone but get 2 phones working. Im sure they have a fail safe for this happening. I know on CDMA networks you can do it by getting the MSL for the phone and changing its ESN to the ESN of a working phone.

          You can only have one activated at a time. You MIGHT be able to turn one off then use the other, but they have an ID that is unique to the phone.

            This is called "cloning" and won't work. We use to do it in the old analog days. That is why your phone is digital now. Zero cloning.

              This is correct, i rocked a cloned moto startac back in t the day but once they went digital all that stopped. It is possible but unless u a wireless tech u will never find out.
