94 Accord Wipers and Tach malfunction

I have a 94 accord, auto, 2 door, LX. Yesterday while driving in the rain, the tach stopped working. Then when we turned off the wipers, they stayed on intermittently. Each time they turn on the tach starts working, when they shut off, the tach dies too. Whenever the wipers are in motion, the tach works. And they will not stay off when the car is running. When the car is on and engine off, wipers stay off.

Any ideas? It is the car my fiancé drives and I worry.

Wipers are controlled by the ICM. I recommended replacing it in another thread recently, so maybe it will work for you too!

The other guy had weird electrical issues that replacing the ICM solved.
