With the new motor/trans the car is way quicker than the last time I raced it in late 2009.

Some other thoughts, now with Hondata, launch control was used and helped starts significantly. But now, another point that I have found out from other Honda guys with VTAK, is lowering the VTEC crossover for racing purposes. Which I agree with, lowering it will allow myself to just stay in VTEC for pretty much the duration of the run.

I just need to figure out how to get the data from the onboard datalogging pulled.

Okay, I am sifting through the data, and I guess really I should get a wideband O2 sensor so the data can have more usable meaning, but top speed on the last run from yesterday was 62 mph @ 7267 rpm with the TPS at 82%

VTEC was set at 4500 rpm, and a lot of time was spent lower than that. I think VTEC engagement point of 4000 would have been more appropriate for this course.

And for the LAWL, I got 17.8 mpg on my last tank of gas.

How many cars usually run in SMF with you? In the events I have attended usually they are all Ford Focus, some Scions.

New rear pads put on Saturday. Last pad change back there was when I converted to rear discs in September 2007. At least 80k mi put on those with a 40/40 prop valve

Driver side worn more than passenger.

Oh and lately, I've just been flogging the hell out of this thing on some backroads. The clutch takes a beating, along with the brakes.
